Rich Rayon& Silk velvet ( Magicvel Label ) makes up this pretty vintage period dress. It features ruched elbow length sleeves and covered button/loops at the shoulders ( non working, just for show). The bodice falls in loose folds to a centered smocking at the waist, from the gathered shoulders. The skirt is pretty straight, and there is a side metal zipper. Matching belt included. This is from the early 1940s.
